My friend Grace who’s a registered dietician always says - the best water is the water you’ll drink….so whether its sparkling, fruit added, or just plan ol’ water - something is better than nothing. And - it may make you go pee more at the beginning but your bladder will become accustomed and your body will not flush it out as quickly allowing you to hold it the typical 2-4 hours we should be able to (heheh…shameless Pelvic floor plug…). Also it helps flush out some of the lymphatics and I promise your skin, energy and generalized wellbeing will improve.</image:caption>

Just start with 2-3 minutes a couple times a day. A women’s health physical therapist can walk you through this if you are not comfortable just yet. Apply more pressure as the tissue tolerates it. You can even try to pull the skin away from the belly and sliding the skin in different directions. Remember, your belly moves in a lot of directions so the skin has to move with it!</image:caption>
