Knowledge is power

Empowering women with the education on pelvic health and the body.

Empowering you to take control of your symptoms.

Empowering the community to understand that prevention is the optimal way to stay healthy and active.

I see you.

Frustrated with the process yet knowing that time is what we need. But how much time is too much time to wait until we decide to seek help?

To my Mamas out there:

We need to help each other. We need to depend on each other. I want to help you. If you feel frustrated with the answers you are getting (or lack there of) from doctors, friends or even within your own head, please reach out. The most common issues are ones that, if we are taught to manage, can resolve or significantly improve.

Oh. So, you don’t have common issues?

You have full control of your bladder and never leak even with coughing or sneezing? You can jump on a trampoline without even thinking about it or feeling like your insides are going to fall out? You can engage in intercourse without pain, frustration and reach climax pleasurably? You don’t have a bulge with curls ups in our abdomen or a belly pouch? Your C-section scar or tear from delivery is not painful? Your back never hurts? You can have a bowel movement without bearing down or straining? So you think you’ll just watch a few videos and get it all by yourself right?

OH…those “issues” are the common issues I’m talking about?

Well, yes!

That’s what I am trained to help you conquer. Physical therapy is so much more than just Kegels with women’s health related issues. Contact me and lets see how much we can change your life!

Did you know that 1:3 of women have pelvic floor dysfunction? Did you know around half of us do not even do a “Kegel” correctly? No wonder you’re not getting better solo! You need a team and you need someone to give you a kickstart.

Injury Prevention

Don’t wait until you are so limited by pain to get help! Let us show you how to optimize your workouts and watch the mechanics of your movement to help you restore and improve your overall potential with your activities!

Return to Function

Sometimes we just need a little boost with an extra set of eyes to optimize our return to sport and function. Breaking movements down into isolated exercises and activities can help you improve overall function.

Pain management

Dry needling and manual techniques as well as exercise and stretching have been proven to reduce pain and allow many to avoid surgery, medicines, and unnecessary imaging. We can offer empowerment with self treatment tools.

Incontinence Control

Don’t let leakage control your life! Coughing, sneezing, laughing and jumping should NOT make you pee nor poo nor pass gas. Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy has been demonstrated to be effective in improving and/or eliminating incontinence and to give you a sense of freedom and confidence back.

Pelvic Pain Relief

Pelvic pain can be pain from the belly button to the pelvic floor. Scars, bowels, bladder, uterus, and fascial interconnections can greatly be affected by many sources. If you have been assessed by a provider but the source of your pain has not been identified - it could be one of these interconnections a Women’s Health Physical Therapist can address.

Postpartum Recovery or prenatal prep

Are you trying to figure out where to start with all the instagram and youtube videos for a sense of control? Does your belly have a separation or bulge when you sit up? Do you have leakage when you sneeze too? Do you have back pain and hip pain no matter what you do? Let a Womens Health Physical Therapist guide you and assess all the dimensions that are affected by childbirth!

What if you were given a roadmap to guide you through post-childbirth recovery?
