Women’s Health Physical Therapy incorporates assessing the spine, core, and hips as well as the pelvic floor muscles. The therapist will spend at least a full hour of one-on-one time to assess and determine the cause of common issues women face.

  • Urine leakage with cough, sneeze and/or exercise

PELVIC PAIN

  • Vaginismus/Vulvodynia

BLADDER PAIN/INTERSTICIAL CYSTITIS

  • Overactive or/and painful bladder sydrome; increased frequency and/or urgency

PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE

  • Feeling of heaviness or something feels like its falling out - Cystocele, Rectocele, Uterus, Vaginal Vault

SCIATICA

  • Numbness and tingling to leg/hip/foot

PAINFUL INTERCOURSE/VAGINISMUS/DYSPAREUNIA

  • Dyspareunia - Unable to orgasm,use a tampon, or pain with sex

DIASTASIS RECTI ABDOMINUS

  • Abdominal muscle separation (core weakness)

LOW BACK PAIN AND PELVIC GIRDLE PAIN

  • Pain in pubic bone, inner thighs, or low back/buttock

SACROILIAC JOINT DYSFUNCTION

  • SI joint pain and hip pain

POST-ABDOMINAL SURGERY

  • Post-excision surgery for Endometriosis, post-hysterectomy, Post- C-section recovery

BOWEL DYSFUNCTION

  • Constipation, leaking, rectal pain or IBS symptoms
