Still Running Through Pain — or Not Running at All?

Too many runners never get the real answers they need. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone — and you don't have to keep settling for less.

You've Been Passed Around

You saw your doctor, maybe a chiropractor, maybe even a PT — but spent most of your sessions with an aide doing the same exercises on a printout. Nobody actually watched you run or figured out why you keep getting hurt.

Insurance Said You're Done

Your insurance-approved visits ran out before you were back to full strength. Now you're left guessing which movements are safe, afraid to push harder and re-injure yourself all over again.

You're Losing More Than Miles

Every week off your training plan costs you fitness, confidence, and the races you've worked hard for. Rest hasn't fixed it. Pushing through hasn't fixed it. You need a real plan from someone who gets runners.

Mt. Juliet's Running Physical Therapy Done Right

At Priority Physical Therapy, we don't treat running injuries with generic protocols. We watch you move, analyze your gait, identify the root cause, and build a plan that gets you back to running — stronger and smarter than before. Every visit is 60 minutes, one therapist, all you. No sharing time, no cookie-cutter exercises, no insurance-driven shortcuts.

  • Running gait analysis and movement screen to find what's actually causing your injury or setback

  • Advanced hands-on treatment — dry needling, myofascial release, shockwave therapy, and manual therapy — tailored to runners

  • Return-to-running progressions with a clear timeline so you never have to guess when it's safe to push

Step 3: Return to Running with Confidence

With hands-on treatment, targeted exercise progressions, and a clear return-to-running timeline, you'll rebuild strength, correct your mechanics, and get back to the miles and races that matter to you.

Real Results from Mt. Juliet Patients

Emily G. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Tiffany has worked diligently with me from head to toe to regain my strength and range of motion after years of declining mobility after multiple leg surgeries. I am able to do the things I love again — from date nights with my husband to hiking with my dog. I don't struggle daily with pain after work. I am forever grateful."

Jon W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Dr. Tiffany is amazing. I dealt with heel pain for months, thinking it was plantar fasciitis. It wasn't. Took her 5 minutes to tell me it was a nerve. After the first visit and exercises — 80%+ pain gone. This place and these people truly care and are knowledgeable."

Pamela W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"I've been to other physical therapy offices where I felt like I was on a conveyor belt — just one of many people being attended to. With Kelly, I get individual attention. The appointments don't have to take as long, because she's focused on one person at a time. I highly recommend Priority Physical Therapy."

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know before your first visit to Priority Physical Therapy.

Do I need a doctor's referral to start running physical therapy?

No referral is required. Tennessee is a direct-access state, which means you can schedule directly with us without seeing your physician first. Simply book a free discovery call and we'll guide you from there.

Do you accept insurance?

We are a self-pay practice, which means we don't bill insurance directly. This model allows us to give you a full 60-minute session with a Doctor of PT — not 15 minutes with an aide on a generic protocol. Many clients with high deductibles find our rates comparable to or better than their out-of-pocket insurance costs. We are HSA/FSA eligible and provide a Good Faith Estimate upon request. Call us to discuss pricing.

What happens during my first visit?

Your first session includes a comprehensive evaluation: we review your history, assess your movement patterns, and for runners, we perform a running gait analysis. You'll leave with a clear diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan, and a realistic timeline for returning to your goals.

How many visits will I need?

Every patient is different. We'll give you an honest, upfront answer at your first visit — whether that's a quick fix or a longer road to recovery. You'll never be kept on a schedule driven by insurance quotas. Our goal is to get you better and get you independent.

Do you offer in-home or virtual appointments for running PT?

Yes. We offer in-office, in-home, and virtual/online coaching appointments. If your schedule, location, or mobility makes traveling to the clinic difficult, we come to you. Virtual options include guided programming, form education, and ongoing support.

What's a free discovery call?

It's a no-pressure, no-obligation virtual meet-and-greet with one of our Doctors of PT. You'll share what's going on, ask any questions you have, and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit. There's no charge and no commitment required.
